Brainstorming for your novel
You have a great idea for a story. One you are probably working on in a few different ways. Whether you are still just brainstorming characters, starting to build your world, or already writing and just need to figure out what to do next, let me be your sounding board. I've completed several novels and I'm in my editing stages now but I remember the woes of writing and that Great Swampy Middle of writing. You have the major scenes and just need to figure out how to connect them. Or maybe you have smaller scenes and need help seeing bigger themes.
Whatever is troubling you about your story, let me help you work it out. Send me a rant as big or small as you need it to be and I'll help you. We can talk on Simbi or find a different method that works better for your needs (especially if you are more like me and need to rant out loud to hear how things sound.
Please don't send me full chapters. This service is more for just chatting about your novel like fellow writers do when they need help.
Training & Qualifications
A writer of most of my life, I am well read and know the inner workings of stories. I have a specialty in fantasy and science fiction though I know how to help with others as well. I participate in multiple writing groups online and in person where we study different aspects of stories. I also have multiple years of college writing classes.
Availability & Preferences
most days, I'm flexible , Wednesday evenings are out though.
