Model Skinning / Texture Work
No longer trading in Simbi. Only trading for goods and services, with a strong preference for physical goods.
Generally associated with gaming, I skin models. I'm more prone to texture/artistic variants than logo/brand type markups, and work a lot with public domain materials and my own painting. Currently most experienced in Project C.A.R.S., but if it uses DDS or similar output, I'm probably good to go. 40 simbi is a general opener for simple models and simple textures. Any one of the cars pictured is significantly more work.
If you have a series of models you want skinned, having a baseline or commonality between skins will reduce your per-model cost in some cases. For example, if I'm working on liveries for Project CARS, a base livery without decals can be relatively simply applied across an entire set of vehicles - an inexpensive process, treatable in many ways as a texture. Alignment of text and graphics as decals, or other things that are unique per model brings the per model price up close to a single model price.
Training & Qualifications
Level design and textures since Unreal Tournament GOTY edition back in 2000, but never as part of a gaming development studio or similar - the specialists have me beat on this, easily, but I'm comfy in my niche.
Availability & Preferences
I work around my somewhat insane schedule, so you must contact me to find out where I can slot your project in.
