Layout of books, magazines, brochures, and similar in InDesign, with print-ready final as PDF. 20 simbi page rate - though that can go up or down depending upon complexity. Everything from correctly and meticulously fitting to templates for specific publication formats to making sure your brochure fits with your local environment.
A basic unit is a page, 8.5"x11" - the price in simbi is a starting point and can vary somewhat depending upon complexity and type of layout.
Final is provided as print-ready PDF: Expect large files.
I can also provide InDesign files, fonts, and all linked files in those cases where I have legal right to do so. For example, I can hand you free fonts that are in the design, but not ones I've purchased for use. This runs extra, and how much so depends on what's been linked. If you're looking for this, you need to tell me so before I start the project.
Training & Qualifications
Layout work both digital and the old style glass/wax for newspaper since 1992. Won an actual award in college for my work with the school paper. I tend to have a late 90s New England newspaper mindset when it comes to large format layouts and a small press poetry mindset for book formatting.
