Almost 10 years ago I found myself in a situation that no parent ever wants to be. My autistic (undiagnosed at the time) 12 year old son was so completely full of unresolved trauma and lashing out in every way imaginable. The physical manifestations of this were smashed iPads and other expensive items, the beginnings of an intense sleep disorder and school refusal.

Emotionally he was a mess and refused all help. He was completely unable to communicate his needs and this resulted in all kinds of meltdowns. Add puberty, a layer of poverty, potential homelessness and a mum who was barely functioning and the situation became a trainwreck in slow motion.

At that point I literally felt unable to continue parenting and had no idea what to do. I read so many books on parenting and trauma and we had already spent so much money on many treatments (including homeopathics, neurofeedback, frequency healing, elimination diets, psychologists and kinesology to name a few). Some of those really helped but they are expensive and you need a child who's actually willing to engage. 

After two more years of being in this unsustainable place, I was finally guided to do the inner work. This was not a straight line that is for sure. I had a big dose of my own trauma to work on which came from attempting to parent solo in this unsustainable situation, as well as my earlier life experiences (and most likely past lives too). After doing this deep inner work on myself I saw my boy respond positively as I was changing. These kids are extremely intuitive and sensitive and some would say kind of exist outside of the "normal paradigm", kind of in another reality. 

One of the healing modalities that worked extremely well was Quantum Consciousness Facilitation. This is like a very deep meditation where you access information from your subconscious. I feel like my trauma was clouding my decision making and accessing this wisdom was like a gold mine of resources. When I healed, it allowed my son to also heal. It felt like we could both breathe again and he began to finally communicate his needs calmly. Absolute game changer.

I took the leap and decided to become a Quantum Consciousness Facilitator myself. Along the way, I also pursued training as a Past Life Regression therapist. Working with individuals to unlock their higher wisdom using these powerful techniques has been an incredible honour and pleasure.
