1 Hour Fictional Story Editing

I am offering one hour of editing for fiction writers who want another set of eyes on their work. I’ll look over your writing for flow, clarity, pacing, dialogue, repeated wording, awkward phrasing, grammar, and spelling errors.
I can work on short stories, scenes, chapters, and excerpts. I’ll do my best to give helpful, honest feedback without changing your personal voice or style. I work with fiction only, and my goal is to help smooth out the writing so it feels easier to read while still keeping it true to your story.
I am also open to longer projects, such as full novels, but I usually prefer trades of editing or reviewing services for those since they take more time and attention. Feel free to let me know if there is anything specific you want me to focus on, such as dialogue, pacing, sentence flow, or overall readability.
Training & Qualifications
I’m a published fiction writer, and I’ve always loved both reading and writing stories. I’ve spent a lot of time revising my own work, so I know how helpful it can be to have another person look over a scene and catch things you might miss. I’ve also edited and given feedback for friends and acquaintances on their writing. I usually pay attention to things like whether the scene flows well, whether the dialogue feels natural, if anything is confusing, and whether the writing could be smoother without changing the writer’s voice.

My availability is Flexible but I am usually available through the week and most weekends.
