Pyrography Leather Barrette

We used to make Leather Barrettes with Wooden Sticks years ago, and wanted to make some now with Pyrography.
This one is decorated with a hand burned Butterfly...
The leather measures 4.5 x 2.5 inches
Space between the holes measures 2.5 inches
Fire Writing (aka Pyrography) is one of the oldest art forms, with surviving artifacts found in Peru and Roman Britain dating from before the 1st century. It has not changed much over the centuries, though we now have much finer tools.
