I will provide a 60 minute massage therapy session tailored to the needs of your body on the day of our session. I specialize in Myofascial Release and Realignment, a style of massage in which I follow the lead of your body so that it can unwind & shift at its own pace. Myofascial work targets & relieves distinct points of pain, and helps your body shift & release patterns of tension for long term relief. Fascia is connective tissue that wraps around our muscles, organs & bones; since the fascia in our body is all connected, restrictions in one area can impact other areas. I complement this work with intra-oral and lymphatic massage. I also offer relaxation focused massage using oil or lotion when needed.
My philosophy is that your body knows what it needs, and it is always my primary objective to tune into and follow the innate wisdom of your unique body.
Training & Qualifications
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Washington. I graduated from Discovery Point School of Massage in 2015, and have been practicing professionally for the past 4.5 years. I opened my private practice, Raven Bodywork, in the summer of 2017. In addition to my massage school education, I have received extensive continuing education in myofascial listening techniques, and am certified to provide intra-oral massage.
