One of my favorite set ups right now for gamer sis a multiple lo res camera set up as well as a main high res capture, and face angle. The other angles offer a bit more of a studio broadcast feel. That looks so much nicer for say talk shows or a cooking show where you need many angles at once or back to back.

One time, when I was first starting figuring out how to do all this stuff myself, I set up a multi student drum studio with podcast cameras on each user. 5 students on headphones were set to hear themselves, but not each other, yet they could all hear the instructor and his drums. All the drums individually mic'ed, and blended into a master control on a Mac. That way he could teach them all at the same time without them being distracted by each other.
