I've noticed there are a lot of podcasters on here looking for guests. I also know that it costs money to get your podcast promoted so guests can find you which is silly. This ends up being a win-win for all of us.

I can speak on your podcast or radio or television podcast as an expert guest on any one of a variety of subjects. I have way more information than is listed.

Training & Qualifications

I have been in the media for most of my life. My father was in TV and mom in radio. I have an extensive theater and media background on my own including working with "The Space Show" podcast for three years.

Availability & Preferences

My business runs from 10 am to 11 pm EST Sunday-Thursday, 10 am to 2 pm Friday, and after sundown on Saturday. I can either get you between clients if I am done for the day or we can try to work it out.

Bad Experience: For a Podcast, I'd planned. Unfortunately. I'd hoped we could come to a consensus regarding topics for inclusion and hadn't anticipate...d the rigidity. Especially given prior positive communication and working with Melvin. But more importantly, the willingness to axe the deal without attempting to meet halfway or work out a solution first is the reason I'm writing a review now for this. To sum up what happened: I posed a handful of topics and options for consideration that would be engaging and more listenable than a sales pitch–With the caveat that I was completely OK with Melvin letting me know what he was comfortable with. I stated this clearly and upfront as I wanted to be certain he would be onboard with anything that might be broached. I felt this was a respectable way to approach the gig. One of these topics I through out for inclusion was a history which is less than rosy, but very real. Something I'd hoped to briefly touch on as I and many others find interesting. In hindsight, I can see how Russian use of altered mental states for control - must have caught Melvin off-guard as even a topic of interest - I can appreciate that it is not something that a present practitioner of hypnosis would want to cover and would be avoided at all costs. In case it's not handled carefully or could potentially taint the view of the entire practice. I respect that. So that is what I agreed to do, instead opting for one we'd discussed in another context previously, which was also immediately shot down. Following; As I was reformulating topics and questions for the podcast to bring back to Melvin the deal was swiftly canceled and a bad review was left. This is bad form imho and a first for me on Simbi. I'm disheartened by this exchange, as I'd looked forward to chatting with Melvin again since we'd had such an interesting conversation prior and he seems intelligent and knowledgeable in many fascinating subjects and aspects of hypnosis and related fields. I guess my motto there is no stupid question (when prepping for such a thing as a podcast) may be true, but it doesn't mean it can't hurt your reputation. :( show more
