I am happy to provide answers to any questions you have either about the renaissance festival (I'm a rennie), the Society for Creative Anachronism (Scadian), or being a reenactor in general although I can tell you that I specialize in the medieval/renaissance time period.
I can any questions on how to get into things such as chain maille as I am a weaver or I can ask my husband fighting advice. I can tell you were to get the best garb or the cheapest depending on what you need.
I can help you with persona development or backstory development.
I can even tell you how to get into the festival as an employee if that is more your interest. Or point you in the direction of medical help if you were a rennie.
I can tell you what groups to join if you are looking for work. I can help you in whatever you need!
Training & Qualifications
I have a BA in Medieval Studies from Emory University. I have participated in medieval reenactment since I was 15 in both the Renaissance Festival (Florida and Georgia) as well as the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). I know how to do several arts and crafts from a historical point of view as well as a more creative one.
