Songs, especially pop songs, are very repetitive. Painfully so. But sometimes, the lyrics are fun- you just don't want to hear them over and over and over. I'm so annoyed by this, that I've started editing songs so that the artist never repeats a phrase. I will take any song you give me (the song must have lyrics, don't throw me an instrumental piece) and I'll edit it so that whoever sings it says everything once.
