Sound and vibration therapy
Tuning forks, which are instruments calibrated to specific frequencies and musical intervals, can be used for healing by placing them on different parts of the body or held in the energetic field of the body. The sound produced by striking a tuning fork travels and penetrates deep into the tissues and cells re-establishing a healthy vibration. They can also be applied directly on the acupuncture points, a wonderful way of treating children and people sensitive to needles with the acupuncture principles.
Tibetan Singing Bowls produce sounds which induce a deep state of relaxation and entrains the brain to move to the Alpha and Theta frequencies allowing the body to start the self-repairing mechanisms. The sound produced by the bowls also has a centering effect on chackras.
