Core and cavity only. No lifts, side pulls or hand-picks. Not for use in mechanical power transmission or where safety might be compromised by mechanical failure.
After we discuss your project, I'll provide a CAD model for you to explore using free software. You determine any changes you want, I update the model. We repeat this once more. I send you 3d and 2d files in the formats used by your tooling vendor. After your vendor provides DFM feedback, I'll make two more rounds of changes for a total of five file submissions.
Training & Qualifications
I'm a Certified SolidWorks Professional in Advanced Modeling. I've been designing plastic parts for nearly twenty years. While I've designed only a few die cast parts, the design rules are similar but less stringent. I've never made a thixo part but I'd be interested in that.
