Gua Sha for Pain Relief
10
Gua Sha is a traditional Asian technique useful for pain and stiffness. Frequently used by Acupuncturists, Gua Sha is known for it's quick effectiveness and the distinctive marks left on the skin, which will fade in a few days. This service is for one (1) Gua Sha session on the neck, upper, and/or middle back in my Lansdale, Pa office. It will help with neck, shoulder, upper back pain and headache. For more information about the practice of Gua Sha and the science behind it, please check out http://guasha.com/about/what-is-gua-sha/ and http://www.pacificcollege.edu/news/press-releases/2015/05/05/science-gua-sha
People who utilize Gua Sha notice an immediate change in the range of motion in the area treated. The actual treatment itself is done in a matter of just a few minutes, but the relief can last for days.
