I will host an Art Party that takes the "Canvas and Cocktails" concept to another level. Attendees will receive a mini color wheel and color mixing lesson and then proceed to working on a project. The project is of their own choosing, meaning they will have the opportunity to pick one of the following mediums:
Sketching (pencil, charcoal)
Drawing (Colored Pencil, Oil Pastels)
Watercolor (regular watercolor, watercolor pencils)
Painting (Acrylic).
Instead of propping a piece of my artwork in front of everyone to copy, each attendant may bring a picture that inspires them or browse through my magazines to find an image that strikes them. This way everyone walks home with something uniquely theirs.
The reason there is a limited quantity is so that I am able to guide everyone along the path of their project and no one feels lost. I will provide tips, tricks and suggestions, but I will never meddle with your artwork. If I want to demonstrate, I will do so on a separate sheet.
All supplies are provided.
Water/fizzy water is also provided, alcoholic beverages can be included upon request.
This is a wonderful experience to share with friends as well as a great excursion for coworkers/teams. You share your accomplishments and mishaps (yes, they happen and you will learn to make them part of your art).
Party time frames depend upon everyone's projects, but I say expect to be here for a few hours.
