African Drumming Lesson : 45-Minute

I will provide drums and teach you a traditional West African drum rhythm from Mali, Guinea, or Senegal.
You can choose either a hand drum (djembe) or a barrel drum with sticks (dundun).
We can just learn by doing, or I can use a whiteboard for music notation.
The class will be tailored to your level of ability, so people of all levels can have fun and be challenged.
Training & Qualifications
I spent 3 and a half years in West Africa, immersed in drumming music.
I have given talks at universities like UCLA and UW on the music,
and I've been invited to teach drumming workshops around the US and Japan.
