I'm not a missionary. I'm not affiliated with any organization, religious or otherwise. But I do believe that God has called me to a radical new life of philanthropic living! This vision I believe He has given me is to embark on an expedition of service and faith. The idea is to go where He sends me, and do whatever I can do to help everyone I encounter along the way. Whether that be simply smiling at a stranger, serving food to others in a homeless shelter, helping someone carry their groceries, cleaning someone's house, whatever need I can do something to fulfill! This is what I believe God has called me to do.

But that's not all. The second part to this journey is faith. Having complete and total faith in God and in the goodwill of mankind. To rely on the kindness and generosity of others to meet my needs. And to be honest, that's the hard part.

As I mention in my profile, I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. So to me, it's no coincidence that this wonderful new thing called simbi (that I had never heard of) popped up on my facebook within days of my receiving this calling! I believe this community is meant to support me on my journey, my mission of philanthropic living.
How? I don't know. All I know right now is that I'm supposed to share this with you, my fellow simbian :)
