About Nena Serratos Torres
I graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Spanish and Community and Culture degree and a Mexican Studies Minor, where I participated in the fieldwork of parent education, community engagement, civic engagement and community-based learning. I develop and teach an award wining bilingual STEM-based program for low-income parents with children five and under at a Science Center.
I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Education with and Emphasis on Curriculum and Instruction.
