I started in Culinary school and completed two years before realizing that it just was not for me. After fighting the dreaded culinary internship, I switched majors and focused on Human Resource Management, a drastic leap, I am aware. Finally feeling like I have found my calling, I have had about a year experience as a coordinator at DiLeonardo and got to participate in parts of HR that someone freshly out of college could only dream of: recruiting, benefits enrollment (including open enrollment), morale, labor laws, fringe benefits - all while working on an international level.

I breifly left the HR side of things to work in hospitality, gaining experience in accounting, customer service and leadership as the Night Audit Supervisor. I now currently work for ICI Services in WorkForce Development as a contractor for the Navy focusing on mandatory training management and compliance.

With my time in HR and hospitality as a supervisor, I understand how to edit and hone a resume to garner focus from employers and recruiters. If you don't have a resume, I am also willing to work with you to build one! I also understand what companies are looking for when they interview candidates and can offer advice on this front too.
