This story is set in the medieval time. A king killed his mistress before the eyes of the master of the kingdom. After trying to buy his silence, whi...ch was denied by the master he arranged the scene to make it look like the master did it. So the master was charged of murder. The judge knowing he had to make sure the master was condemned to death. Wrote the word guilty in two pieces of paper and said the gods would decide his fate. So he ordered the master to pick a piece and that would be his fate. So the astute master took one of the pieces of paper and ate it. Everyone went crazy!! How will we know the fate of this man now?? And the master replied, you only have to see what the paper left says to know what the one I ate said...
