AMA : Experimental Psychologist
5
I am more than happy to talk to you about what it is like to be an Experimental Psychologist or the process of going to graduate school or whatever you happen to need. There are a lot of options for this.
I am more than happy to give you an hour at a time. Though really if I have time and you have more questions I am more than happy to give you more time if needed. I know most people are more interested in clinical psychologists, but if you are in undergraduate school the real thing you are going to be interacting with is the experimental people. Sorry, that is just the way it is! Usually not a lot of clinical people are hired (they make more in private practice anyway.)
Some options include
- day to day life
- how to pick a research topic
- IRB
- managing your thesis proposal / defense
- more?
Training & Qualifications
I just obtained my second MS degree in Experimental Psychology. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and with several honor society inductions. I also spent a year teaching introduction to psychology at my graduate school.
