Make your own Hologram

Come to the studio and learn about holograms and make your own. We will use lasers to record an object into a holographic image. Usually we make a 2x3" hologram recording from an object. These are analogue optical holograms (aka the holograms prints where the image is captured as a structure in film). We will use an instant film – so no chemicals and The hologram you make can be seen in Sunlight or with a spot light (the led flashlight on a phone works great)... sessions are about an hour in Astoria NYC
Training & Qualifications
I am an artist and researcher working with holographic imaging. My background is in physics, my PhD in Architecture and Design and I have taught art in a number of countries. I am also the Creative Director of the Center for the Holographic Arts.
