The 13 card zodiac spread takes a look at your life as pertaining to the 12 Houses of the Zodiac, with a central card for an overall view of the querent. Not only does each individual House cover a specific area, but the sign's element and energy type can play a role in the reading.
Angular houses, or cardinal signs, contain the most active energy. Succedent houses, or fixed signs, tend to show how security is challenged or enhanced. Cadent houses, or mutable signs, focus on learning experiences.
Fire houses tend to focus on personal identity and general attitude towards life. Earth houses usually relate towards material needs and values, wealth, and physicality. Air focuses on sharing concepts and relating. Water deals with matters of the soul, emotion, and the past.
