I'm a computer scientist, a former missionary, an amateur linguist, a single dad, and a hobbyist firearm designer. I don't fit into anything you'd call a 'category'. I've spent years on topics like sustainable building technologies, agriculture, and ecelogical management, in fields as far apart as web torrent protocols and the legal cannabis industry to 3d printers and industrial food production. Recent endeavors include a number of programming and writing projects, and I'm trying to make a sun tracking solar foundry that uses a lens to melt metal with sunlight, and also a steam generator/turbine to generate power from this same setup.
