What is assemblage art? I'll teach you! and in the meantime we can make some art. I'll share my skills, my creative process and perhaps a few tool skills surrounding found object art. The culmination of this you will have created your own found object assemblage to take home and hopefully had a laugh or two.
Training & Qualifications
I am a professional visual artist with a background in art conservation ( I repaired old broken art) and have worked in the arts in one realm or another for the last 14 years. I am more specifically a sculptor and installation artist with my most frequent materials being objects found on the streets, handed down to me, or otherwise discovered and acrylic paint. I've exhibited in a number of gallery and art spaces in San Francisco and was awarded an artist residency at The Midway, SF.
