The history of comics Class

I will teach you the history of comic and the importance of it in society. Class comes complete with PDF documents as well as a list of recommendations. This class is Child friendly so I can even teach it to homeschool groups. It's a 30min Skype/Facebook class with up to 30 min of additional Q&A time. I have been teaching this class all over Southern Missouri for the past 6 years through the Libraries and schools. If you would like to discuss things specifically or leave out something I am willing to customize to your needs. I firmly believe kids and adults can learn a lot about history and society by looking deeper into comic books and sequential art as a whole.
Training & Qualifications
I am a freelance comic artist/writer/colorist/and publisher. I have been teaching versions of this class for 6 years all over Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas. I have met many people in "the biz" and have picked their brain as well as gone to several seminars, panels discussions and taken many classes from several Universities in the pursuit of making the best experience available.
Availability & Preferences
I'm usually free on the weekend BUT special considerations can be made.
