I am an undergraduate student at a polytechnic school who is passionate about the resurgence of community-based economies. With the advent of apps like Uber, Airbnb, and countless others, trust is finally closing the recursive loop that has developed over the years of human history which has vacillated from intimate, community-based trust, to trust in institutions necessitated by rapid globalization, and, finally, back to community-based trust once again thanks to innovative technologies like Simbi which embrace the traditional approach to the exchange of goods and services.
