I'm Cat. I'm a U.S. Navy veteran. I am pursuing my Master's degree in Elementary Education at Old Dominion University. I am a founding member of the Virginia Urban Homesteaders League where I teach classes free or at cost of materials in waterbath and pressure canning, fermentation, natural beauty, living green, and gardening. I help organize seed/seedling swaps and larder/food swaps. I'm all about sharing skills to help others become more sustainable and self-sufficient as well as reducing your carbon footprint.
