I am a first mother in an open adoption. My son was adopted at birth and I've spent these past few years learning all that I can about adoption and the effects of it. I currently spend quite a bit of time consulting with adoptive parents and other first parents about how to have a successful open adoption relationship. It can be hard!
Training & Qualifications
I have the lived experience of a first mother in a open domestic infant adoption. I also have done quite a bit of research on adoption, and would love to share that with others. I spend at least an hour a day (usually more) walking adoptive parents through the relationship they have with their child's first parents. I also have a blog and have guest blogged for many other publications.
