I will proofread and edit your writing, up to 500 words. I'll be looking for grammar, spelling, and other errors, and will also note places where different word choice might improve or otherwise strengthen the piece. This can be blog post writing, novel excerpts, memoir pieces, etc - I would however prefer not to do academic editing because textbooks are BORING.

I am a romance novelist - between working constantly to improve my own writing and also help improve the writing of other friends in the industry, I now have nearly 5 years of proofing and editing experience.
