The dog featured in this artwork is inspired by one I used to have, named 'Scamp', although he didn't have polka dots :)
The vibrant blue background is done in acrylic paint and the rest of the piece is cut out of acid free paper (check out the funky patterns I've chosen for the dog, grass, sun and tree!). As usual, I've antiqued the piece with aging polish to give it a really 'grubby-prim' look.
This 8" x 10" artwork was created on a quality canvas board. and comes framed with an inexpensive, black wooden frame. It is sealed with matte varnish for preservation purposes.
