A post partum doula provides support and help new mothers and partners in the first three months after the baby is born. A doula provides housework, meal prep, help with siblings and pets, knowledge of breastfeeding, emotional support and supplies any needed resources. As much as well intended family and friends offer, a doula puts mom in charge of what help she needs with out feeling like she needs to occupy or entertain those in her home.
